The Frederick County Best Places to Work campaign recognizes the county's most innovative, creative, and forward-thinking employers. Winners of this coveted title provide an atmosphere for their employees to thrive, with outstanding benefits, programs, and perks for their employees.

Through 4 generations and 75 years in Frederick, we have always held one of our core values to be that our employees are our greatest asset. Many of the decisions we have made such as reduced hours, expanded employee benefits and significantly higher than industry standard compensation has all been done to ensure that our employees are happy and are with us for the long haul. Customer service is at the heart of our business so happy, content employees are the backbone of that philosophy.

This award is a reflection of the longevity of our company. FoodPRO has been an employer in Frederick City since 1935 and still today, as a founders grandson, one of the greatest fulfilments in my life is knowing we have provided employment, opportunity for ownership and advancement, as well as financial security for so many families. Without the dedication and ideas for growth from our employees, we would not have made it these 88 years. All of our employees are proud to be part of a team that provides food products and services to dining establishments we all enjoy. Thank you for recognizing all of their hard work and remember to dine out often!
— Scott Brunk, President, FoodPRO Corporation - 2023 Transportation & Warehousing Category Award Winner
